I installed Cher-server 12, but I'm not able to get the web ui (https://chef-server-ip).

But it displays

Chef Server API

This is the main endpoint for all of the Chef API's. In general, none of these have any HTML representations, and the vast majority of them require that you are sending properly authenticated requests. So while it's neat that you came to visit, you probably won't find what you are looking for here. You can manage your organization's infrastructure interactively using the Chef Management Console

No, reporting is only in Enterprise Chef 11 or Chef Server 12 (in 12, there is no longer a distinction between open source & commercial; it's the same code base with premium features that you can turn on and off)

Hi

But does this Chef Reporting works for Open source chef-server?

I'm using chef-server-11.

I installed knife reporting plugin using the command : /opt/chef/embedded/bin/gem install knife-reporting

But when i executed the knife runs list command, I'm getting this error,
