Is adding a chef workstation and chef nodes same as that of open source chef 11?

Then where can i find the .pem files?

Thanks Julian, now I'm able to access the UI.

Now I have doubt regarding adding workstation server.

I installed chef, rpm -Uvh chef-11.16.2-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

knife configure -i from the chef-repo folder, but I'm getting this error

ERROR: Your private key could not be loaded from /etc/chef-server/admin.pem

`opscode-manage-ctl reconfigure` should restart Chef server's nginx if its own nginx configuration changes (which should happen after you install it.), which should pick up the new nginx rules (manage adds files that the nginx configuration loads in /var/opt/opscode/nginx/etc/addon.d.)

Julian's step of running chef-server-ctl reconfigure might work, or chef-server-ctl restart nginx.

Are you still getting the page you got before you installed manage?

Documentation might be wrong. I believe you are going to need to
chef-server-ctl reconfigure as well to pick up the new nginx rules.
