[chef] Chef on POWER / Linux (RHEL) platform

Does Chef has processor architecture dependancy? e.g. x86 family, POWER etc. 
Hopefully not! Document doesn't say anything on this.
Does anyone has tried Chef on POWER/Linux? any known issues??

My understanding is Chef recipes are ruby DSL so if ruby can run successfully
on POWER/Linux (RHEL) platform then ideally Chef should run seamlessly on this
platform. Offcourse Chef has been supported on most of the Linux flavors.
